Best Small Touchless Soap: Nozama Automatic Soap Dispenser
Automatic or touchless soap dispensers work much the same way: an infrared sensor senses your hand, triggering the dispenser to dispense a small amount of soap. When we tested several popular automatic soap dispensers, we noticed there were some differences: some models hold more soap, others are easier to fill. And some also let you adjust the amount of soap dispensed, which is a nice plus.
For a smaller-size dispenser touchless soap dispenser, we think Nozama Automatic Soap Dispenser is a best bet. We road tested it and thought it was tops in performance. Here’s more:
What We Liked
• Smaller/shorter. This dispensers is 7.5″ tall. That’s about an inch or so shorter than other dispensers.
• Adjustable soap level.
• Nice looking.
• Easy to set up and use. This dispenser runs on 4 AAA batteries.
• Waterproof base with rubber seals for battery department. That keeps water from getting into the dispenser.
What Needs Work
• Only holds 9.46 ounces of soap. Well, that’s the downside to the smaller size . . . it also holds less soap!
• Can’t see soap level. That’s a pretty standard feature among the dispensers we researched and tried—we wish this model had that feature.
Best Large Touchless Soap

Best Large Touchless Soap: Mixigoo Automatic Touchless Foam Soap Dispenser
This dispenser holds 14 ounces of liquid soap—that’s much more than the smaller dispenser we review above. And it is only an inch or so taller. Here’s more:
What We Liked
• Transparent base lets you see soap level.
• No slip base.
• Easy to use.
• Holds large amount of soap (14 ounces).
• Only requires 2 AA batteries. Other dispensers require 4 AAA batteries.
What Needs Work
• Messy to refill. The base unit that holds the soap has a small opening—that makes refilling this unit a bit more messy than others we tested.
Easiest to Fill Dispenser

Easiest to Fill Dispenser: Hanamichi Soap Dispenser
When you have kiddos, one thing that is a constant is soap—and refilling the soap container!
When testing automatic or touchless soap dispensers, one factor distinguished those dispensers that were good from the great: how easy it was refill.
On that score, we thought Hanamichi’s soap dispenser was easiest: it fills from the top. Other dispensers fill from the bottom or have small openings . . . which always leads to a mess.
Here’s more:
What We Liked
• Large, visible soap level.
• Overall nice aesthetic.
• On/off button.
• Not overly sensitive. Some of the dispensers we tested were so sensitive, they’d dispense soap when you are just near the sink. (Needless to say, those weren’t ones we’d recommend!).
• 13.5 ounce capacity.
• Waterproof base.
• Simple to use and refill. The top-loading design is superior, in our opinion.
What Needs Work
• Only 2 dispense level settings. Other dispensers we tried have three levels.
• Volume can be erratic. We didn’t see this issue when we tested, but see some reports that the amount of soap can vary over time.
Best For Foaming Soap

Best For Foaming Soap: Secura Automatic Foaming Soap Dispenser
This dispensers works with special foaming soap or you can dilute your regular hand soap. Although most touchless soap dispensers can also do foaming soap, this one is specifically designed for that purpose. Here’s more:
What We Liked
• Easy to refill. Twist off the top of this dispenser and voila! You can add soap into the container with a large opening. While this isn’t as easy as the Hanamichi unit we review above, it is a close second.
• On/off switch to save battery life.
• Nice design.
• Easy to use.
• Foaming soap saves time, water.
What Needs Work
• Tall. At 8.7″, this is the tallest dispenser we tested.
• No soap volume control.
• Loud!
• Goes through lots of batteries for some reason. At least more batteries than other dispensers we tested, given the same amount of usage.
