A torchiere or torch lamp is a tall stand that directs light up to the ceiling—this indirect light is great for watching TV or relaxing.

For the best LED floor torchiere lamp, we’d go for JOOFO’s Floor Lamp. The key feature we liked: a remote control that lets you control the lamp from across the room. The nice heavy base is also impressive, as is the height (69″ tall).

No, you don’t have to spend big bucks to get a good quality LED floor lamp—we think Tomshine’s floor lamp is a good example of a budget-friendly lamp that  hits all the right notes. We liked the controls on the head of the lamp: you can set the color temperature and dim the light as needed.

Best LED Floor Lamp Minimalist: Miroco LED Floor Lamp

Sometimes less is more.

When it comes to LED floor lamps, we know those models that have a minimalist vibe are popular. After looking at several lamps that fit that bill, we though Miroco is the best minimalist floor LED lamp.

This lamp uses just 10 watts (equal to a 60 watt light bum) and has four color temperatures (candle, natural white, warm white and cool while). Affordable, yet very good quality.

What We Liked

• Lots of light options = great for Zoom meetings. The natural white is our favorite for video chats, but we know others like the cool white as well. Candle mode is particularly pleasing!

• Great for home offices.

• Affordable.

• Easy to assemble.

What Needs Work

• On/off switch could better placed. It’s in an awkward position on the light head itself.
