Taste Testing Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

When it comes to pumpkin spice coffee, you have two basic choices: brew some pumpkin pie spice coffee infused beans, or just use your regular coffee and add pumpkin spice coffee creamer.

When talking with our staff of pumpkin pie spice enthusiasts, we see the latter folks prefer a sweeter coffee experience. And we understand that—adding just the right amount of pumpkin spice coffee creamer lets you set the amount of pumpkin flavor, which sometimes can be a bit spicy.

For out taste test, we brewed up regular coffee and added creamer:

Best Tried & True Brand

Subtle flavor
We loved the smooth pumpkin flavor with this creamer—nice blend of spice and pumpkin, with an emphasis on the former.

Best Dairy-Free

No added sugar
We think the not-so-secret ingredient here is the coconut cream—it doesn't overwhelm the pumpkin spice flavor, yet adds a nice creamy texture note. Also great: about one-third the calories of other brands we tested.

Best Sugar Free

Most yummy
Sucralose, also known as Splenda, is the sweetener here and wow, did we love the taste! This creamer even won over folks who aren't big coffee lovers. Caveat: contains a milk derivative, so perhaps this one isn't the best for vegans.

Loved it, but does have added sugar
If you are in charge of stocking an office coffee space with lots of pumpkin spice coffee creamer, this larger box would be our choice. Great flavor, with nice notes of both pumpkin and spice.
