Comments: As you might have guessed from the name, the Safety 1st Store ‘n Go’s claim to fame is its under seat storage drawer. It also has a side pocket/cup holder. The Store ‘n Go comes both as a high back ($40-45) and backless booster ($22). FYI: Walmart has a Disney version of this seat ($24).
So what’s missing? Well, this seat only has basic side impact protection; the Graco TurboBooster with Safety Surround features better protection for $30 more than this seat. And there are no LATCH attachments for securing this seat when it is unoccupied, but that omission is common at this price point.
The Store ‘n Go gets good marks from parents. They like the soft padding, adjustable head rest, and kids like the bright colors. One complaint: the seat rattles. That could be a deal killer for some folks, as you might expect. Rating: A-
