A couple of corrections and clarifications to our version 7.1 book:
• NettoCollection: In the review (page 82; chart page 96), we stated that this company’s furniture was made in Vietnam and Poland. Actually, Netto is made in Poland, Cub (Netto’s lower price line) is made in Vietnam.
Also: we stated all Netto furniture comes IKEA-style: flat-packed and do-it-yourself assembly. To clarify: the Cub line requires assembly. The NettoCollection’s dressers come fully assembled. (Both companies cribs require assembly, as is the case for all brands of course). We apologize for any confusion on this!
Finally, Netto is JPMA-certified. Up until recently, the JPMA only listed the Cub line as JPMA-certified—-that was an error (on the JPMA’s part) that has now been corrected.
• The shopping cart cover site SewCuteBoutique.com (page 477) has gone out of business.
• The WhisperWear wearable breast pump (page 263) has pretty much disappeared from the market.
• The web site we give for the Over the Should Baby Holder carrier (page 540) is incorrect. It should be otsbh.com (not .net).
• In the diaper pails section, we say in the summary on page 354 that "Graco’s new Touch-Free diaper pail is worth a look…" But we actually gave that pail a C-, after recent complaints from readers. We apologize for the confusion—when we revised the book for the 7.1 printing, we updated the Graco review but not the section conclusion. For the record, we do NOT recommend that diaper pail!
That’s it for now! If you spot an error in our book, let us know!
Sadly, the Gap Clearance Center referenced on page 242 at the Rockvale Square Outlet Center in Lancaster, PA is no longer there… still worth a trip to Lancaster however for the Pottery Barn Kids Outlet!!
