Is the Veer wagon worth it?

Yes.

Is the Veer wagon worth it? Yes, Veer Cruiser stroller wagons are worth the worth the investment, in our opinion (we have spent the last 30 years researching and writing about baby gear—read more about us). Three reasons:

1. Premium materials and design quality. Yes, there are many stroller wagons out there, but the Veer uses expensive components (note the 12″ rugged real wheels). And design features like the quick fold/unfold are unmatched.

2. Extended use. The Veer wagon can hold up to two children up to five years of age, so you can use it for trips to the zoo, beach and other outdoor adventures for multiple years. Most kids outgrow strollers by age 3 or 4.

3. Resale value. Thanks to the brand’s popularity, Veer wagons can be resold at roughly 40% to 50% of their retail price after three years, based on our analysis. This assumes normal wear and tear.

Of course, the Veer is among the most expensive stroller wagons and may not be worth it if you only go the zoo once a year, for example. However, if you live near a beach or plan a series of outdoor adventures, it may be worth the investment.

Is Veer good for the beach?

Yes.

Yes, the Veer Cruiser is good for the beach. The 12″ rear tires will roll over most sand. The wagon can be pushed or pulled. One caveat: the wagon includes no canopies (canopies are sold separately as accessories), so you will need additional sun protection.

Does Veer ever go on sale?

Rarely.

We’ve only seen the Veer Cruiser go on sale very rarely. Here are the two times:

1. Amazon Lightning Deal. On October 25, 2022, there was a Lighting Deal on the Veer Cruier that dropped the price by 15%.

2. Black Friday/Cyber Monday. We have seen the Veer Cruiser go on sale by a small amount (10%). Check key retailers like Amazon and Nordstrom.

What age is the Veer stroller wagon for?

Birth to age 5.

The Veer Cruiser “is designed for two passengers ages birth to 5 years. Each passenger seat is safety-rated for up to 55 lbs. and the Cruiser can hold additional cargo weight. The Cruiser does not have a specific height limit,” says the maker.

Can a baby sleep in the Veer wagon?

Yes.

Yes, a baby can sleep in a Veer wagon if you purchase a car seat adapter or a separate accessory that turns the wagon into a bassinet: the Nap System includes a mattress pad plus a sun shade and bug screen.

FYI: the seat in the Veer wagon is for babies six months and up.

Does the Veer wagon push like a stroller?

Yes.

Yes, the handle on the Veer Cruiser can lock in place, enabling you to push it like a stroller. The only caveat: the wheels that turn are in the back, unlike a traditional stroller. It takes some practice to master pushing it like a stroller.

Are Veer wagons allowed in Disney World?

Does the Veer wagon fold?

It depends on what is chasing you. The Veer Wagon is not designed as a jogging or running stroller—but it could be pushed in a hurry if you are, say, in a zoo and a rogue panda escaped its enclosure . . .

How much does the Veer wagon weigh?

32.6 lbs.

The Veer Cruiser weighs 32.6 lbs. A slightly larger version, the Cruiser XL is  36.7 lbs.
