Michelle R of Ohio find an outlet for Gap’s
maternity wear, with a rack of $5 jeans! Here’s her
story:
To whom it may concern,
Your book, Baby Bargains, was recently
recommended to me as a necessary part of my shopping experience. Since I
purchased it, I have not been able to put it down! I love it! It is SO helpful
and answers all those questions that no one else seemed to know the answers
to.
In regards to where to buy maternity
clothes, I have found an amazing outlet other readers need to know about.
Located in Hebron, KY (15 minutes outside of Cincinnati, OH,) there is a GAP
Clearance Center. Not only do they sell regular Gap and Old Navy clothing for
kids and adults, they also have a rather large maternity department. On my last
trip there, they had racks and racks of maternity jeans for $4.99 a piece!! All
pants, skirts, shorts, long sleeve and short sleeve shirts were also $4.99 a
piece! Sweaters were a bit pricier at $9.99, but when you are saving all that
money, you don’t feel bad about the “splurge.” My girlfriend was able to pick
up a couple of maternity blazers at great prices as well!
The upside to this GAP store is
obviously the prices. They really can’t be beat. And the selection is large
and pretty diverse. The only downside to this store is that any clothes you do
purchase, should probably be cleaned prior to wearing. As it is a clearance
center, you may be purchasing someone’s returned item and you don’t know where
its been!! But there are dressing rooms on hand, so your returns will be
minimal, if anything at all. Also, the store is usually jam packed. The staff
knows this and runs a very orderly process in the dressing rooms and at the
check out lines.
My friends and I would
HIGHLY recommend this store to anyone passing through the Cincinnati area!!!
(Their baby clothes sell for $4.99 and under
too!)
