You’ll find classics like cardigans and jeans as well as stretch shirts, swim suits and more. We like their Starter Essentials (lots of basics like classic shirts, tanks and pants) and their Style at Work section. If you’ve never been pregnant before, this is a great resource. Sizes range from 1-2 to 20 plus inseams go up to 34”. Check frequently for sale items—they seem to offer more sales than most maternity retailers. Readers have been impressed with the quality of Gap maternity, according to our email. Note: the Gap only accepts mail in returns of maternity clothes bought online—you can’t take them back to the store. You also have to pay the return shipping.
