distributed by the company most famous for making the Baby Bjorn a household
name in the U.S. Bjorn has dropped Regal + Lager as their distributor however,
and the company is casting about for renewed footing in the baby biz.

Previously, Phil & Ted handled their
own distribution in the US., albeit with mixed results. Their kiwi stroller
brothers (Mountain Buggy) have had better luck with this market, so it makes
sense for the Phil & Ted to add some muscle to their distribution
strategy.

In the Kids Today article, Phil
& Ted reveal they will launch two backpack carrier models and a travel cot
later this year.
