Reader Nicole K. writes in today with some feedback on the UPPAbaby Vista’s RumbleSeat:

Hi there! Absolutely LOVED Baby Bargains!  I used it to buy pretty much everything, and have since purchased many copies for friends.

I wanted to shoot you a quick note about the Uppababy Vista rumble seat so that other parents may be made aware.  I loved the Uppababy when I had one baby, and can’t stand it with the rumble seat attachment.  Basically the rumble seat just negates everything that’s great about the stroller.  The weight balance is totally thrown off, so you lose the ability to turn, and it often gets stuck going over the smallest of bumps in the sidewalk.

As you can imagine, this is a pain in the butt for someone who walks an hour a day with the kids.  It’s absolutely not ideal if you plan to use it with two children.  I’m actually selling it and trading into a City Mini double.

We checked with a retailer who sells quite a few Vistas about this issue. The retailer confirmed the problem, saying many folks don’t like the RumbleSeat. The very upright seat position and weight balance issue make the RumbleSeat only good for occasional use; if you really need a double stroller, there are better bets.
