Best Wooden Doll High Chair: KidKraft 61111 Tiffany Bow Lil’ Doll High Chair
They are all so cute—baby doll high chairs are that perfect accessory for your child’s doll.
After researching this topic by asking our parent readers for their favorites, we realized baby doll high chairs are roughly divided into two categories: wood and plastic.
For the best wood doll high chair, we liked KidKraft’s Tiffany Bow Lil’ Doll High Chair.
Ok, when we say wood, we really mean medium density fiberboard (MDF). MDF is made from wood and functions much like wood . . . but technically it isn’t solid wood.
We liked this chair because it is both well made and just the right size for most baby dolls.
What We Liked
• Super cute!
• Made in the USA.
• Includes seat pad and rattle bar.
• Scalloped footrest is a nice touch.
What Needs Work
• Screw holes not pre-drilled? The sample high chair we looked at didn’t have this problem, but we see a few reports that some chairs lacked pre-drilled holes for the screws that hold the chair together.
• Can be knocked over rather easily.

Best Budget-Friendly: JC Toys For Keeps-High Chair for Dolls
Wood baby doll high chairs are nice, but they can be pricey. If the budget is tight, we’d recommend JC Toy’s For Keeps baby doll high chair. Yes, it is made of plastic . . . but we love all the included accessories. Here’s more:
What We Liked
• Chair plus bib, baby bottle, dish, spoon/fork. Lots of fun!
• Easy to assemble.
• Lead and phthalate free.
• Affordable.
What Needs Work
• Too small for larger dolls. Yes, it fits dolls up to 14″ to 17″. But bigger ones are probably not going to work!

Best For American Girl Dolls: Melissa & Doug Mine to Love Wooden Play High Chair for Dolls
You’d think baby doll high chairs that fit American Girl dolls would be a standard feature—after all, those dolls are among the most popular dolls sold today. Yet, as we surveyed doll high chairs and did measurements, we were surprised how many doll high chairs did NOT fit these dolls!
For the best high chair that DOES work with American Girl Dolls, we recommend Melissa & Doug’s wooden doll high chair. Made for dolls and animals up to 20″ tall, this chair will work well with your American Girl dolls.
Melissa & Doug is a brand we’ve known for years—they’ve been making great kids’ toys for a long time. The company has a good reputation for quality and we’ve recommended their products over the years.
Here’s more:
What We Liked
• Easy to assemble.
• Tray is removable.
• Very cute!
• Fits dolls up to 20″ tall—great for American Girl dolls.
• For ages 3 and up.
• Coordinates with other Melissa & Doug baby doll furniture.
What Needs Work
• Pricey.
• Broken parts on arrival? We didn’t have this problem when we tested this chair, but we see a few reports online that the chair might have been damaged in transit. To avoid disappointment at that birthday party, we recommend checking it over for damage immediately upon arrival (instead of waiting until later when the gift is opened).
