Best Made in USA Loaf Pan: USA Pan Bakeware Aluminized Steel Loaf Pan
What makes a great loaf pan? Whether you are baking bread or meat loaf, we judged pans on their non-stick claims, ease of cleaning and overall performance.
We tested out four different loaf pans that were made in the USA, because we know some folks would prefer a domestic-made loaf pan.
After the dust settled, we thought USA Pan’s Bakeware loaf pan was the best bet. Here’s why:
What We Liked
• Non-stick coating is PTFE, PFOA and BPA free.
• Square corners.
• Heavy weight, sturdy. These pans are made from aluminized steel.
• Corrugated surface helps provide even heating. We liked the performance of this pan overall.
• Made in the US from US-sourced materials.
• Easy to clean.
What Needs Work
• Hand washing is recommended.
• Sometimes it can be hard to clean the corners. Yes, we think this pan is very easy to clean overall—thanks to the silicone non-stick coating. However, sometimes crumbs can get stuck in the corners!
• Pricey. Yes, these pans cost more than those imported from China—but this is a typical premium for buying cookware made in the US.

Best Grippy Handle Pan: Rachel Ray 54079 Yum-o! Bakeware Oven Lovin’ Nonstick Loaf Pan
If you have arthritis, a loaf pan with grippy handles is super helpful. Regular loaf pans can be quite slippery!
After trying out a few different options, we think Rachel Ray’s 54079 pan is the best bet for a loaf pan with grippy handles. Here’s why:
What We Liked
• Easy to clean.
• Cooks evenly.
• Non-stick.
• Can use up to 500 degrees! That’s more than other pans we tested. Higher temperatures are required for some bread recipes.
• Excellent handles are easy to grasp!
What Needs Work
• Easy to scratch, dent. Yes, this pan is made of steel, but it can easily dent or scratch.
• Hand washing is recommended. We see reports that even though this pan is dishwasher safe, it is better to hand wash for long-term durability. After testing it, we would agree: it could rust if put repeatedly in a dishwasher, in our opinion.
• Not made in the USA.
Best Instant Pot Loaf Pan

Best Instant Pot Loaf Pan: Instant Pot Official Mini Loaf Pans
When it’s time to bake bread or make a casserole, we often turn to our trusty Instant Pot.
We tried a few pan options for our tests before deciding Instant Pot’s official mini loaf pans are the best choice. Here’s why:
What We Liked
• Excellent for mac and cheese (yum)!
• Perfect fit for 6 or 8 quart Instant Pot.
• Affordable.
• Great for 2 people.
• Non-stick.
• Dishwasher safe.
• Can also be used in a regular oven.
What Needs Work
• Yes, these are MINI loaf pans! Some folks are disappointed by the small size, but we think they are perfect if you are just cooking for two or three people. If you want a full-size (9″ long) loaf pan, see the previous recommendation in this article.
• Some recipes make too much batter for these pans. You have to adjust some recipes to account for the small size.
• Not made in the USA.
