Comments: Twingaroo, made by Stuff4Multiples, is a carrier made to be used by older twins over 10 lbs. Essentially it will carry one child in front and one in back. It comes with a diaper backpack attached to outside of the back carrier. But you don’t have to wear two children to use this carrier–it will convert to a one child carrier, which works up to 45 lbs. And you can carry children of different ages in the Twingaroo. Just make sure you don’t exceed the 35 lb. limit (per pouch) when you use the carrier for two.
Parents seem to like the Twingaroo, although some complained about all the clips/latches required to put it on. They recommend practicing and watching the videos online to help make it easier. Here’s one:
Once on, most parents thought the carrier was very comfortable and the diaper backpack held lots of baby supplies. The price was high to some parents, but we think it’s pretty reasonable, considering how expensive it might be to buy two separate carriers. Another disadvantage: you can’t use this for newborns up to 10 lbs. So you may not be able to use it until they are two or three months old. Rating: A-
