Price: $93 to $120.
Maximum weight: 35 lbs.
Comments: Gypsy Mama makes its Wrapsody wraps in three different fabrics: the Wrap DuO (can be used in water, $72), The Breeze (cotton gauze, $93), and the Stretch-Hybrid (t-shirt material, $98 to $120, pictured).
The Breeze wraps are the lightest weight but not stretchy and are made of fabric hand dyed and batiked in Bali. It folds down into a built-in storage pocket, making it easy to toss in the diaper bag. Gypsy Mama recommends the Hybrid wraps ($98 to $120) for beginners as they are “more forgiving of sloppy wrap jobs.” The fabric is similar to a t-shirt and is very soft for both newborns and older kids.
Wrapsody makes a third wrap, the Wrap DuO. It’s made to use in the water until babies read35 lbs. and on land to 25 lbs. Made of high tech sports knit, it’s intended to keep mom and baby cool on those hot summer days.
Online instructions (both videos and printed) were clear and easy to follow. Parents love the Breeze in hot climates or for summer wearing.
